Yu brings together a decade of teaching experience in education with several years of industry experience from running a start-up company. Her research focuses on English Medium Instruction (EMI) in higher education, with a particular emphasis on factors influencing university students’ academic success in EMI settings. She is skilled in both linear (e.g. regression analysis, correlation analysis, structured equation modelling) and non-linear research methods (e.g. qualitative comparative analysis).
